Hunter vs. The Wasp & To-Do Lists

Only Hunter!  Saturday Hunter and I spend the entire day together running errands in order to cross things off my "to-do" list (which is HUGE).  We went to the dump, then to Home Depot to return extra closet supplies, Lowes to return a drill that we ended up not needing as we 'found' the missing power cord (actually - the replacement that was on backorder actually arrived).  Then we went to the dog store to get him more food, got gas, and stopped in at the post office.  Once I got him home I then went grocery shopping.  When that was said and done I was TIRED and needing a little nap before Josh and I went out to run more errands that night.

Hunter was left in the care of Josh and I went upstairs to catch "1 hour of sleep".  However, Josh yelled up the stairs about 35 minutes later saying he needed me.  Well, in the 35 minutes that Hunter was with Josh they went outside and Hunter was stung by a wasp.  Not only was he stung but he was stung on the pad of his back right leg!

Josh sprung into action and called the vet (this is the first sting we have experienced) and the appropriate medications were given and Hunter monitored for the next hour.  I am proud to report that Hunter is not allergic to wasp stings and Josh and I were able to go about our evening.

We started our night at Target to get a few household things then it was off to Old Navy to return a pair of pants for Josh and purchase some shirts for me (two long sleeve and one short sleeve).  Then we went to Babies R Us so I could use a coupon for $2 off wipes (the wipes we intend to use never go on sale so using these random coupons is a must).  After BRU it was off to Bed Bath and Beyond to price hampers (baby needs one as do we - I only have laundry baskets and when we add the shelves to the bathroom a hamper would better fit the space) and finally a stop at Starbucks for Josh to get a treat for being such a good errands guy!

All-in-all Saturday was a pretty busy day but my list is now a few lines shorter and our house has a little less clutter in it.

Now, if only I could find the time to finish tha nursery.......
